Respighi, Ottorino

Ottorino Respighi(1879-1936), Italian composer, studied at the Liceo musicale in Bologna, played viola in the Imperial Opera Orchestra in St. Petersburg and studied with Rimsky-Korsakov. Returning to Italy he taught at the Liceo. He composed operas, orchestral music(Pines of Rome, Fountains of Rome....), and chamber music.
